Midnight showed plenty of “teeth” this weekend in San Carlos at the Cal State Games local qualifier. Midnight 5 went undefeated 3-0 to take the top spot in the 10U division. Playing up the Midnight 4, once again played great not only winning a game, but also featuring the first Midnight player to ever lose a tooth in the course of battle (Lauren pictured above). Don’t let it ever be said that basketball isn’t a contact sport. Midnight 6 played in their second consecutive championships game, coming up short versus West San Jose. Midnight 7 went 1-2 to take fourth.
